Ray Harrhausen and Charles Schneer are seen (but not heard) discussing their latest project 'The Golden Voyage Of Sinbad'.
Previous films are looked at and these include:- 'Mysterious Island', 'The Three Worlds Of Gulliver' and 'Jason And The Argonauts'.
On location for the making of The Golden Voyage Of Sinbad we see several scenes being filmed on the beach and in the huge caves featured in the film. ''The camera has a habit of zooming in and out from Caroline Munro's plunging neckline (no, I'm not complaining) and she is seen in various poses in a brief swimsuit being photographed on the beach for publicity photo's.
John Philip Law keeps most of his clothes on, even when he is doing some of the films stunts himself, climbing up a 75ft rope ( or so we are told, but we never see him and the complete rope in one shot).
Tom Baker is included in one very brief scene from the completed film. Beware this item is of very poor quality, being quite soft focus, and it's very annoying to not have Harryhausen's and Schneer's sync dialogue included, instead we have them mouthing away with the narrator rabbiting non stop.
Despite all this I still like this item which will appeal to Harryhausen fans and followers of the Sinbad films.
It would make a nice introduction to 'Clash Of The Titans' if included in the same show.
