HOUSE OF FRANKENSTEIN

Lon Chaney Jr.
Boris Karloff
J. Carrol Naish
Directed by: Erle c. Kenton

A travelling circus arrives at Frankenstein village. The circus owner (Karloff) is drawn towards the evil forbidding house of Frankenstein.

Here he sets about releasing the frozen body of Frankenstein from it's tomb of ice - but with unexpected results.

This was the sixth of the original Frankenstein films, and is interesting because it was one of Universals attempts at featuring several of their 'monsters' in the same movie.

This time it's Frankenstein and the Wolfman (Chaney), and in the full feature Dracula as well, but none of those scenes survive in this edition.

The cut down considering it's length, is good and presents an easy to follow, fast moving story with lots of key action scenes from the original.
