Chapter 1
STOLEN TREASURE

PIRATE TREASURE gets off to a rousing start as our hero Dick Moreland returns from a daring, solo flight around the world.

Unknown to Moreland's followers is his reason for the around-the-world trip: more than the glory and headlines, Moreland made his flight to win money to finance an expedition to search for buried treasure on an island in the Spanish main.

Meantime ... the villainous Stanley Brasset, learns of the treasure map and sends his henchmen after Dick.

Dick battles the thieves for the map, but is knocked unconscious. He recovers in time and pursues the thieves by car. Dick manages to catch up with the speeding car and then, in a spectacular leap, lands in the bandits car.

Another fight ensues and Dick is hurled out, narrowly escaping being run down by Dorothy Craig's oncoming car.

Dick gets into Dorothy's car and, the chase is again under way. As Dorothy's car pulls alongside the bandits, Dick leaps into the car, recovers the map, and tosses it to Dorothy, but the bandits' car with Dick goes crashing into the sea...

Chapter 2
THE DEATH PLUNGE

After his wild plunge into the sea, Dick swims ashore and pursues the henchmen into a garage. Dorothy, imprisoned in a room on the top floor, breaks a window to attract Dick's attention.

Dick climbs a drain pipe, releases Dorothy and sends her to his parked car.

Peering through a skylight, Dick sees the thieves examining the map. He dives through the skylight, snatches the map and flees.

But Dick cannot escape. He is finally cornered on a roof where he fights fast and furiously until he is hurled from the building...

Chapter 3
THE WHEELS OF FATE

Hurled from the roof, Dick escapes death by crashing through a series of awnings. Dorothy is waiting by a curb and they drive off.

Learning of Dick's treasure expedition, Dorothy tells him of her father's ship, THE LOTTIE CARSON, and they leave to inspect it.

Discovering that the thieves are pursuing them, Dick transfers to a motorcycle, leaving Dorothy to mislead the thieves. When the thieves discover the ruse, they begin to chase Dick. They are hot on his trail as a dangerous, narrow bridge looms ahead...

Chapter 4
THE SEA CHASE

Trapped on the bridge by a truck parked across the road, Dick manages to swerve over the bridge rail, leap from the motorcycle, and land uninjured in a sand car of a freight train passing beneath.

The thieves pursue and then board the speeding train. A fight ensues atop the freight cars, as Dick is aided by some of the members of the train crew. Dick is knocked off the train and is picked up by Dorothy, who has been following in her car.

Eluding the thieves, Dick and Dorothy go on to Newport, where a speedboat is waiting to take them to THE LOTTIE CARSON. While en-route, Brasset's men pursue and then attack the couple...

Chapter 5
INTO THE DEPTHS

During the battle between the two speedboats, Dick manages to hurl the thieves into the sea, but his own boat with Dorothy and two sailors crashes into a buoy and sinks .

The crash is witnessed by Dorothy's father, who has viewed the action from the bridge of THE LOTTIE CARSON. Dick and the others are rescued as the thieves manage to slip aboard and attack the crew.

During the fight, the map is taken from Dick. He pursues the thief up the ship's rigging, where he is hurled from the top of the mast into the sea...

Chapter 6
THE DEATH CRASH

Hurled from the top of the mast into the sea, Dick swims to the henchmen's speedboat, moored to THE LOTTIE CARSON and hides in the hatchway.

The henchmen race to the dock and all but Joe leave the boat. Dick leaps upon Joe, and knocks him out.

He then borrows Dorothy's car, and with a sailor pursues the henchmen.

As Dick's car catches up to the henchmen, he leaps into their car, and continues to fight with them as the car careens over a steep embankment...

Chapter 7
CRASHING DOOM

As the car hurtles over the embankment, the henchmen jump, but Dick crashes down with the car. Crawling from the wreck, Dick finds his chart, and races off in Bert's car. Other henchmen, in pursuit, must give up the chase when their car is blocked by a speeding train.

Meanwhile, Brasset cunningly has arranged to make a trip for the treasure, and to supply part of the crew. As THE LOTTIE CARSON is being loaded, Dick's airplane motor, in a heavy crate, swings high in the air. The ropes jam, and Dick climbs aloft to release them.

While riding the crate down, the ropes suddenly break...

Chapter 8
MUTINY

Only the bags upon which he crashes save Dick from the horrible fall. THE LOTTIE CARSON sails. A day later, Dorothy discovers the henchmen hiding in the hold.

When Dick goes down to investigate he is knocked out and locked up in the hold. Dorothy seeks Brasset's aid, but Brasset, instead, orders his men to take over the ship.

A carelessly tossed cigarette starts a fire in the hold. Dick is aroused by the smoke and leaps through a porthole, and climbs back aboard to do battle with the mutinous crew. While the fire spreads through the ship...

Chapter 9
HIDDEN GOLD

Dorothy and Dick flee the blazing hold, and the fire is extinguished by the loyal part of the crew.

The henchmen are locked up on the bridge, and fmally the ship reaches the island. The treasure seekers go ashore while one sailor is left to guard the prisoners.

In a deserted hut, Dick establishes headquarters, and the search begins. Brasset feigns illness, and remains in the hut until the others have left. He then goes back to the ship and knocks out the guard and releases his henchmen.

Brasset returns to the hut, while the henchmen trail Dick's party up the cliff and attack them as they open the chest. While fighting two of the henchmen Dick is overpowered and falls off the cliff...

Chapter 10
FIGHT FOR TREASURE

Dick recovers from his fall, and returns to the treasure location to discover the henchmen have been routed by savages, whose wounded chief he had befriended.

Dick opens the chest to find it empty, but finds another chart.

A spying henchman reports this discovery to Brasset, who gives his men a gold detecting device, and sends them back, while he joins Dick's party.

The henchmen locate the treasure and plant a charge of dynamite. They light the fuse as Dick's party creeps up on them. A terrific battle ensues, and as Dick edges closer to the treasure the dynamite blows up...

Chapter 11
THE TOTAL PLUNGE

The explosion turns the tide of the battle, and Dick and Dorothy are trapped in a cave.

While trying to rescue them, the others are captured by the henchmen, and are imprisoned in the hut.

Craftily pretending they want to separate their prisoners, the henchmen take Brasset and go back for the treasure.

Dorothy and Dick escape from the cave, and return to the hut where they release the prisoners. They trail the henchmen, see Brasset leading them off with the treasure, and ambush and attack them.

Fighting the henchmen, they battle into a nearby swamp, as a group of menacing crocodiles approach...

Chapter 12
CAPTURED

As Dorothy looks on, Dick swims downstream to escape the crocodiles.

Dorothy and the others are captured by Brasset and his men.

The henchmen leave Dorothy and the others tied up while they escape with the treasure. As Brasset and the henchmen make their escape, they are captured by the savages...

Will Dick finally get his treasure?

Will Brasset and his henchmen be cooked alive by the natives?
