Another welcome collection of cinema adverts containing: Diet Pepsi - Michael J. Fox dashes out in the rain to get a can for a lovely new neighbour only to discover two dishy girls have moved in so off he goes into the night again; "Silence Please" - a talkative person in a cinema is thankfully silenced by one of the exacerbated western screen actors who shoots the popcorn out of the pests hands; another Pepsi advert - this time a lorry load of 'Cola' hanging over a cliff is allowed to fall over when discovered it's not carrying Pepsi.
Academy Award TV trailer; Butterkist; Intermission for drinks etc; several 'Coming Soon', 'Now Showing', Feature Presentation' and 'Sneak Preview' daysets; 'See A Film At The Cinema First and Spitting Image Chocs.
No doubt of my favourite items from this reel: the 'Quiet Please!' western routine and the 'See A Film In The Cinema First' in which a giant screen presentation of "The Last Emperor" is patiently painted completely black by two workmen who then paint a small TV screen in its place on which you can hardly recognize the picture. The various 'Coming Soon' bits come in useful too.
I cut this reel into the various programmes at the 20th BFCC (REEL-11) where it was an instant hit and a complete sell-out. The pin-sharp print has super colour and sound. What more do you want? Recommended.
