(1951 - d. Hanna/Barbera)
Tom comes out to enjoy a nap in his hammock but is constantly annoyed by Jerry, who is asleep on the pillow.
This is an unusual T&J in that other Disney-like characters are involved in the action. Jerry gets carried away by a column of ants, but he diverts them onto the hammock and they march down the twanging strings in step with the music, to annoy Tom.
A frog (which might have come from 'The Old Mill') lands in Tom's drink and he swallows it causing him to jump all over the place, and he ends up being catapulted into space, and getting the worst of an encounter with Butch, the bulldog.
The Maritz print is excellent. An excellent Tom & Jerry cartoon.
