Tom is hired by the captain of a cruise liner to keep mice of the ship - so when Jerry decides on a trip he and Tom get up to all the usual violent tricks.
Nice to have this complete - it includes a scene in the ships cinema in which T&J see themselves in cartoon extracts on the screen.
Quite good sound, colour and definition.
Portland Films have recently been selling off their stock at giveaway prices - one reel colour/sound cartoons (Disney, T&J etc were selling at £6.95). I bought a copy of "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" which has since been dubbed into Dolby stereo sound by a friend, the quality of the sound is superb, but being a perfectionist, I have kept my original copy complete with the original sound, though I don't honestly expect to show it very often.
I bought several T&J cartoons to replace my cut Walton versions. I include reviews of these also some that Howard Billingham purchased) to remind you of the content. If you want any of them, you must act fast, they sold very well at the price. It is not known at the time of writing if these, or any of the other titles are still available.
