A Pathe News with the Beatles making a live stage appearance. Shot at the height of Beatlemania, it shows the ABC cinema staff being briefed by the manager, the screaming fans and of course the arrival of the 'fab four'.
Once on stage the Beatles perform their biggest hits from that period, 'From Me To You', 'She Loves You' and 'Twist And Shout'.
The b/w print is reasonably sharp and the sound is quite good.
The actual sound quality of the live music is hard to judge, as the screams of the fans almost drown out the efforts of the Beatles on stage.
So if you want to relive the music of your youth or even if you were too young to remember but want to find out what all the fuss was about, this film is a must.
