British Paramount News 1943 The Reel Image Shorts

BRITISH PARAMOUNT NEWS. 1943

Consisting of two items: "Guards Salute Royal Colonel" and "Tunisia: The Last Phase".

In the first, Princess Elizabeth reviews an armoured battalion of the Grenadiers in Windsor park, and in the second, Monty is seen visiting the troops that are pushing the Germans and the Italians back 'into the sea'. Several action scenes in this section, and shots of captured Germans and Italians.

The British troops are seen relaxing on the beach. The Eyes And Ears Of The World logo completes the reel.

Print quality is good, but with damage on the master. The sound is good too - but over-recorded on this review print.
