WHAT IS CINEMASCOPE.

Very brief B/W introduction using schematic diagrams etc to the coming of Cinemascope.

This of course was presented 'flat' since the 'new' system had not yet been installed in most cinemas.

It features several displays showing how the future big curved screen was to took with appropriate seating plans, however since some of these seats appear to be almost directly touching the screen and at the extreme edges, chronic severe eyestrain would have been inevitable if the graphic artists perception had ever been achieved (you can see more on this subject in "White Box Special No.5" due out in October along with items on Technicolor and other systems). The print is a bit dupy but what a little gem to stick in before your big 'Scope feature.
