BRAVE LITTLE TAILOR.

Mickey Mouse's bragging of his heroic deed of killing several flies (in his workshop) is misinterpreted by townsfolk as having killed seven fierce giants. Since there is an actual giant on the loose Mickey finds himself appointed official giant killer' by the king, with marriage to Princess Minnie in way of an inducement.

Superior 1938 one-reeler in which Mickey not only cleverly triumphs over the lumbering giant but wins the hand (and everything else no doubt) of Princess Minnie. A sequence in which Mickey is swallowed by the giant, who then takes a drink of water, foreruns by some two years a similar sequence inside Monstro the Whale in Pinocchio (1940).

Brilliant animation adds to this delightful release and while this review print is not quite up to the very best of the Disney one-reel prints available on 8mm it is still excellent with very good picture and sound quality. Lovely release. Highly recommended. Excellent value for money.
