CAROTBLANCA.

Round up the usual suspects (again?) for a brilliant spoof on Casablanca: and what a cast. Tweety Pie is given the Peter Lorre role, and voice. "Suffering Succotash!" Sylvester, the mealy-mouthed cat is of course the perfect replacement for urbane Paul Henried and Yosemite Sam 'seamlessly' takes over from Claude Rains as General Pandemonium. What inspired casting.

This Looney Toon opens with Daffy Duck at the Club Au Lair Americana playing 'Knock On Wood' at the piano, and from then on this animated gem parodies Casablanca unmercifully, including the famous Paris sequence and the classic ending, but this time the ending is slightly different.

Beautifully animated this should go straight onto the list of any cartoon buff or Warner Bros fan. I wish I'd had it in time for the recent Elstree show. What a kick off that would have made.

Excellent print with good sound. A number of animated Warner stars appear including that old smoothie, Pepe Le Pew. Very highly recommended. Look out for it at the BFM
