FUNNY GIRL

An entertaining trailer to the film which launched the film career of Barbra Streisand, and earned her the Academy Award for best actress (an award that was shared that year with Katherine Hepburn). It also features Omar Sharif and Walter Pidgeon, and has clips from several of the songs, including the hit number "People".

It ends with the remarkable helicopter shot which tracks into Barbra Streisand as she sings on a boat in New York, and then tracks out again.

The print by Cine Magnetics is first class and masked for widescreen.

If you want to include Barbra Streisand in your collection, this is ideal. William Wyler directed.
