GENGHIS KHAN

This spectacular trailer has plenty of action, interspersed with more intimate scenes featuring Omar Sharif, Stephen Boyd and Francoise Dorleac. Directed by Henry Levin.

The rest of the cast, Robert Morley, Eli Wallach and James Mason (complete with Chinese accent) seem to be enjoying themselves sending up the film.

The narrator tells us the camera's went where it actually happened (though in fact it was shot in Yugoslavia), and a title proclaims "Eight Centuries In The Making"

An entertaining item, in the true trailer tradition. The print, in masked widescreen format, is considerably better than the production featurette reviewed in the last issue, although there are a few duped in scratches, and it comes to an abrupt end.
